How do I fix the online safety problem to play realms?

I understand you need help on your realms issue.

Make sure to check your privacy settings by going here:

https://account.xbox.com/settings

Check both privacy and online safety and make sure that everything is set to allow.

If that does not help, try checking your profile and check if the birthdate is correct here:

https://account.microsoft.com/profile

For troubleshooting, you can also try making changes on there just to toggle and refresh the date as the account might be detected as child.

Restart the game and check again.

How do I change privacy settings, I can’t friend people on minecraft pocket edition and I can’t play online or on realms, what do I do?

This does appear to have fixed my account.

For reference, though, the error on Minecraft read: You cannot play on Realms because of how your Microsoft Account is set up. Please ensure your online safety settings allow Multiplayer and Clubs and you have an active Xbox Live Gold subscription.

I had both of these and still, the problem persisted until I deleted the account and reset the Xbox. I'm not sure how doing that also fixed the Windows 10 version, but they both seem to be working.

Other online games also appear to be working just fine as well.

So me and a few of my friends are thinking about starting a Realms world together and i try to play on Realms and it says You Need Permission You cannot play on Realms because of how your Microsoft account is set up. This can changed in your privacy
