How do I fix the "for this the owner needs to sign in" message?

To fix the "for this the owner needs to sign in" message, you need to make sure that you are signed into the account that purchased the game. If you are signed into the correct account and the game is still not showing up as purchased, you can try restarting your Xbox and checking again. If the issue persists, please try signing out and signing back into your account.



Regarding the issue with Cyberpunk 2077, you can try cleaning the disk and making sure it is not damaged. Then, proceed with clearing the cache on your Xbox by holding down the power button for 10 seconds until it turns off, unplugging it for 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in and turning it on. If the issue still persists, you may try to insert this to another console and see if it is being read.

That means it is already fixed.

now my brother has a error message when he tries to play a game saying “To play this, the owner needs to sign in Alternatively, guests can play if the owner makes this their home Xbox. Pls help

Not necessarily. You van purchase DLC for games you don't actually own but just have access through by sharing from someone else or through Game Pass. If the actually game is not showing as owned on your account, then it was likely purchased on a different
account. If you're 100% sure it was purchased on your account, you would need to contact support to see if they can track down the purchase.

I tried to go on the store and it says I do not own it. I also tried to look at my order history for gta v and it is not there at all. The closest thing to GTA V is a purchase for a Bull Shark Card for GTA which obviously shows I owned it at the time.
