how do i fix the Avocadobeard error in Sea of Thievs?

The Avocadobeard error means that the account you are attempting to play on in Sea of Thieves does not have access to Xbox Live, and you can’t log into the game because you cannot play it offline.

If you are referring to the Online safety settings, here are the steps you need to follow:



1- Sign in to Sign in to Xbox

2- Click on the Xbox profile.

3- Tap on “Privacy setting besides the customize button.

4- Then click on XBOX One/ Windows 10 Online Safety.

5- Allow all the options below and click on submit.

Okay. I'm not sure what to do with your link. I created a family unit and enlisted myself as an Organizer. That didn't allow Sea of Thieves to run, same Avocadobeard. Tried to add myself as a participant, while also being an organizer. That just loops me around a login screen. Please provide instructions on what to do here.

Do you have the xbox app installed? If you don't have it,download it. And if you do have it try running the game from inside the app.

I would suggest that you should raise a support ticked to seaofthieves also for this problem. So, you will be supported both by Windows community and seaofthieves also.
