How do i fix rdr2 from crashing?

this didnt work either, i figure somethings wrong with the xbox in general so im just returning it and buying a series s instead, thanks for the help

Please perform factory reset keep my games and apps. Here is how:

Don't worry this won't lose your game data, to reset your console, follow these steps:​​​​​

Important: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

- Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
-Select Settings.
-Select System.
-Select Console info
-Select Reset console.
-Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

none of these worked and it still crashed

Please try to do the following steps:

1. Test you network connection

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
Note Any outages will appear under Current Network Status.
On the Network settings screen, select Test network connection. If the connection test is successful, your console will connect to the Xbox service.

Please take note: If you're prompted to update your console software, select Yes.

2. Try using a different profile

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system, and then select Add or switch.
Select a profile other than the one you were previously using.
Now restart the game to see if it works correctly under a different profile.

3. Remove and re-add profile

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.
Select the account you want to remove (the one that’s experiencing the gameplay issue), and then select Remove.

Now download your profile again to create a fresh version of your profile data:
Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
Select Profile & system, select Add or switch, and then select Add new.
Type in the email address and password that you use to access your Microsoft account (the same account you just removed).

Please take note: Make sure that you do not select Get a new account unless that’s what you want to do. If you select Get a new account, you will create a brand-new Microsoft account.
Follow the prompts as the console walks you through account setup steps such as privacy info, sign-in, and color preferences until you return to the Home screen.

4. Clear local save and resync with the cloud

First, delete the local save:
Press the Xbox button  to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.
Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button  on your controller.
Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.
Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.

After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:
Press and hold the Xbox button  in the center of your controller.
Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.
After you restart your Xbox, re-sync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you’re connected to the Xbox service.
Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.
