    How do I fix party chat on Xbox one s?


    Whenever I get invited to a party, it says everyone else joined but still says I'm connecting. I can't hear them and they can't hear me.

    Hey there try this

    try power cycling your console please follow these instructions,
    1. hold power button on console between 10-15 seconds
    2. unplug your power supply at the back for a few seconds
    3. re-plug your power supply back into your console

    I'm getting this exact issue. Why does the XBOX One Party chat suffer so many issues? It's amazing how on the XBOX 360 there wasn't this many problems with the party chat. Now with the XBOX One it's been nothing but issues with the Party chat since the
    system was released.

    I'm also tired of Microsoft constantly suggesting to do a hard reset on the system. It seems to be their answer to everything. Have a problem? Hard reset your system.

    Party Chat. Still broken. Fix it. Now!

    This is getting silly. Have XB One in DMZ, same with my friends, still no party chat. This shouldn't be new Microsoft... Doesn't matter how many times I reboot or how I join a party / start a party I cannot turn Party Chat on. Fix it MS!!

    I don't think it has anything to do with the Xbox Live party...I thought it might have at first, but they stayed muted in-game when I was in the party chat, in the game chat, and even when I (and everone else) had left the party altogether. They do show
    up in the party when we group up in the game, though. No one's muted in the party chat, only the in-game Ghosts chat...but since we play a lot of S&R, we can't stay there. :/
