How do I fix or replace Corrupt Files on Modern Warfare

I have an XBOX Series X.

I did the necessary updates in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Then the game started crashing as I'd try and play "Ground War". I will get the same general error messages paired with specific map's file name. The error messages were, "DEV ERROR 6034" then a specific file name would be displayed for the map that crashed.

Here is an example of what I will see: DEV ERROR 6034 [ww_mp_downtown_gw.ff]

This will happen on 4 of the 6 maps available.

So I uninstalled the update and then reinstalled it...it still happened.

Uninstalled all the add-ons then reinstalled them...it still happened.

Uninstalled the entire game and all the add-ons then reinstalled everything...it still happened.

Can anyone help with how to either fix this issue or do a completely clear, total uninstall so I don't keep getting these obviously corrupted files?

I highly recommend following the troubleshooting steps here:

After each step try to see if the issue is fixed!

First, hold down the power button for about 10 seconds, until the console shuts off, then unplug the power cord and wait for 2 to 3 minutes before plugging it back in and turn on the Xbox.

If the issue persists, please select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If you are still having the same issue, it’s possible that the local save for the game has become corrupted. If so, deleting the local save and re-syncing with the cloud might correct the problem.

First, delete the local save:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide and then select My games & apps > See all > Games.

2. Highlight the game title, and then press the Menu button on your controller.

3. Select Manage game and add-ons > Saved data.

4. Select Delete all to remove the local save of this game, then follow the prompts.

After you delete the local save, restart your Xbox:

1. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller.

2. Select Restart console, then follow the prompts.

After you restart your Xbox resync your saved games to the cloud. Your saved games are automatically stored in the cloud while you are connected to Xbox Live.

Try playing the game again to see if re-syncing with the cloud corrected the game problem.

If you are still encountering the same issue, please select System > Settings > System > Console info > Select Reset console > Choose reset and keep my games and apps.

This youtube video should clear up the issue. First you have to go to my manage games and add ons for modern warfare and delete Multiplayer Pack 2 which should be 9.1 gb and also Multiplayer pack 3 which should 3.4 gb and your game should work from there.

tried all of these and still doing the same stuff. would really be nice if I could actually play this game but it’s pretty much unplayable bc half the maps are corrupted.

i deleted everything associated with NCAA 12....i did find a couple corrupt files with Modern Warfare 3 and deleted those corrupt files but not all MW3 content as i did with ncaa12
