Is this happening with more games, or is just Insurgency: Sandstorm and the other you mention?

Are you running Windows 10 or 11?

Meanwhile, please check if your system and all the apps related to gaming are up-to-date.

You can check for Windows updates via PC Settings > Update & Security > Windows update > click on “Get Updates”.

You can check for app updates by opening the Microsoft store

If all your system is up-to-date, please try each possible solution below:

1. Open the task manager and go to the startup tab, once there, click “disable” on each app listed.

After that, restart the PC and see if the problem is solved.

I understand that you are experiencing signing into Xbox PC gamepass.

I apologize for the inconvenienced this has caused you. I will do my best to help you.

Please reinstall Xbox app and gaming services. To do this, open PowerShell as an administrator and run:

Get-AppxPackage *xboxapp* | Remove-AppxPackage

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* | Remove-AppxPackage

Restart your PC, then reinstall the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store.

And make sure that you are using the same Microsoft account by signing out of both the Xbox app and Microsoft Store. Go to Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts and remove any secondary accounts. Sign back in using the same account in both apps.

Next is to run WSReset command. Open Command Prompt as administrator and type: wsreset

This clears the Microsoft Store cache, which can interfere with Xbox sign-ins.

Then check date and time settings. Do this by going to Settings > Time & Language > Date & Time and ensure your time zone is correct. Enable Set time automatically and Set time zone automatically.

After that is to uninstall and reinstall gaming services via PowerShell.

Open PowerShell as administrator and run:

Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-appxpackage -allusers

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

This will uninstall and reinstall the Gaming Services package.

Once done, change your account password and then sign in to the Xbox App.

To change your password go to https://account.microsoft.com>; Security> Change password.

You're welcome and thank you for letting me know. Have you already tried to reset your console keeping your games and apps? If not yet, don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.
