    How do I fix my xbox's resolution stuck in 640 x 480


    After I unplugged and moved my xbox one and the same tv I have been using it with for months, the resolution became stuck in 640x480 and I'm not sure how to fix it because thats the only option it gives me when I go to display options. Everything was fine beforehand and nothing serious was changed. I have unplugged it and left it off for 60 seconds, reset my console and tried using a different hdmi cord in case that would work but nothing has it resolved.

    Go to Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options. Under the Advanced column, choose Video fidelity & overscan. In the Display column, ensure that Auto-detect (Recommended) is selected.

    resolution for 640*480

    Im going to assume you are referring to the resolution being displayed by your console on your screen (obv😉) and you would like to change it to a higher resolution.

    Firstly: Is this the native resolution of the screen being used, and is it the highest capability of said screen?

    Secondly: To change the setting on your console simply follow the steps outlined in the link provided below. Hope this helped with your issue.
