    so, the last xbox update im 99% sure broke my xbox internally, at first it wouldn't play games sometimes, sometimes it would stutter, not just in games but in my games and apps, the dashboard my friends list, well so i worked around it, for about a day
    or two, then I got the dashboard black screen of death as I've found people call it, so, I factory reset my xbox, and it worked perfectly after... yea so that update was the 8th, factory reset on the 10th, and now its the 14th and my xbox is starting to stutter
    all over again, and it worked completely fine before that update, and a factory reset did help but only temporarily, probably because its still on the update, now i would think its just me, except on reddit I've found a couple posts from the 8th, 9th, and
    10th, of people saying they've been just selling their xboxs because they've been getting the black screen of death, so I just want to know if its possible to fix this, do I wait till the next update, or should i just buy a new xbox because right now the stuttering
    is making it so games wont even startup and I can just faftory reset again, but redownloading cod and borderlands takes a literal day

    I'm sorry, but we can't talk about self repair on the forums, also opening your console has voided any warranty you had on it. So Microsoft wouldn't fix it, even if you sent it in for repair.

    Hello sage, my name is zahir, a independent advisor.

    It seems that it could be a hdmi retimer chip. Which is a complex fix. You can send it to xbox for repairs, but thr cost would be alot.

    Please advise what would you want to do?

    That is most likely due to Activision shutting down all media uploads due to all the mod infections that are on black ops 2

    In order to
    set-up a repair for your console    , you first need to confirm that your console is registered to your account via the

    Devices     page.

    Once the device is connected, you should be able to select it for more options.

    Keep in mind that the original Xbox One console is no longer manufactured by Microsoft, nor is the console PSU. As a result, out-of-warranty support is no longer available for this particular product.
