How do I fix my xbox game bar not getting invites?

I tell you in advance so that there are no misunderstandings, this is a public forum for user-to-user support. We are users who help other users. We do not work for Microsoft and do not have access to any user accounts.

First of all, it is important to make sure that your Windows is fully updated, including optional updates and drivers for your PC.

1. Press the Windows + I keys on your keyboard to open Windows Settings.
2. Click on "Update & security".
3. In the "Windows Update" tab, click on "Check for updates."
4. Download and install all important and optional updates in case you have any pending.

After this please perform a reset of the Xbox Game Bar application and the Xbox app as follows:

1. Press the Windows + I keys on your keyboard to open Windows Settings and click "Applications."

2. Find the application called "Xbox Game Bar" and select it, then click on "Advanced Options" and then on "Reset" and confirm the process, do the same for the application called "Xbox".

3. Restart your PC and check if the problem is fixed.

It is also extremely important that you make sure you have the app called "Xbox Console Companion" installed and if you do not have it installed please do so from the Microsoft Store. Log in to it and see if it is solved by having the app open in the background.

I do get notifications for Game Bar. My question is related to console companion. Will I receive game invites for console companion if I have game bar disabled?

In the Xbox console companion app on my PC, there is no option for voice invites like on my phone, I get the invites through game bar but still nothing through the Xbox console companion app
