How do i fix my wired mic

My mic hasnt worked for the last 2 months and ive been trying to fix it such as updating my controller and reconnecting the mic. It is a wired mic so if anyone knows how to fix it that would be good.

A stand-alone Mic? When did you purchase it? if the mic is not working to any devices, I am afraid you need to have it physically checked or send it for repair to your local gaming shop.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you have with your Mic. Are you referring to a stand alone mic? Or it's a wired headset which mic is not working?

Have you tested it on Skype to see if the Mic is detected? Or if you connect it to a different device, does the mic work?

Are you using the Xbox One, Series X or S console?
Is your headset a wireless or wired headset?
Did you try using a different headset to verify if the same behavior occurs?
