    How do I fix my mic


    I have just bought a new mic (turtle beach earforce recon 50)and it won’t work,I have tried everything people recommended and it will still not work my old mic worked then it stopped working ,can someone please help,it is not on mute and it should work as
    it’s brand new,it’s keeps connecting then disconnecting ,thank you X

    so I was playing the game Dead by daylight and I’ve noticed that a lot of people who play the killer get reported for just playing the game normally. Now I still have a decent reputation but I feel like it’s slowly shrinking due to people reporting me for

    However, before that, I would like to ask some questions:

    Are you using the Xbox One, Series X or S console?
    Is your headset a wireless or wired headset?
    Did you try using a different headset to verify if the same behavior occurs?
    What procedures you tried to fix this prior to your post creation?

    Hello thanks

    I have an Xbox 1 s and a wired headset but my controller is a series s controller. I have tried with a different controller which is an Xbox 1 controller and it fixed the problem. However that isn’t my controller so I still have the same problem.

    I can suggest some possible solutions based on this information, Reubowski.

    A. Perform a physical power cycle by disconnecting the power cable

    “Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
    Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important, Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    Plug the console power cable back in.
    Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.”

    A stand-alone Mic? When did you purchase it? if the mic is not working to any devices, I am afraid you need to have it physically checked or send it for repair to your local gaming shop.
