How do I fix my mat type?

Hello Anthony, you will call your internet operator, ask them to set a fixed ip pro console, and ask them to open the ports that is described down there, disable and activate the UPnP function and disable the modem firewall, if you have modem and router the process has to be done on both devices.

Ask them to place the console IP in the DMZ zone.

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port 4500 (UDP)

bsnider001- Thanks for the additional info. Unfortunately, that didn't work and my MAT type is OPEN.

How is your console connect to the TV, Mat? Is it using HDMI or another type of connection? If HDMI, can you try composite or component and let us know if the behavior changes at all?

You may need to manage your router settings.

For the UPnP not successful error please follow the steps below:

"1. Sign in to your router’s setup webpage, and make sure the router’s UPnP setting is turned on. You can usually find first-time help with this in the router manual or on the manufacturer’s support site.

2. Turn the UPnP setting off and save your changes.

3. Restart your console, your modem, and your router.

4. Turn the UPnP setting back on and save your changes. If there’s a Zero Config setting, make sure that’s turned on as well.

5. Restart your modem and router."

In regards to your NAT Type being strict please OPEN the following ports:

Port 88 (UDP)

Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

Port 80 (TCP)

Port 500 (UDP)

Port 3544 (UDP)

Port UDP 4500 (UDP)
