    How do I fix my controller that disconnects every 30 seconds.


    I just got a Xbox series x and a brand new controller. Every controller I connect to the Xbox disconnects ever 30 seconds and reconnects. I can’t play games without being frustrated. What do I do? I’ve tried updating systems, controllers, everything. Tried plugging it straight into wall instead of power strip. I’ve tried everything.

    Disconnecting from XBOX LIVE.

    I am also getting disconnected every 30 seconds or so. Is there a problem with my account?

    Wi-fi and controller disconnecting constantly

    Update: Same issue today, decided to stay offline today, disconnected from my wi-fi, turned off online mode, controller does not disconnect but 'freezes' every few minutes or so from 10-30 seconds with whatever the current button input was. Not sure if it's
    related to the wi-fi/controller disconnect issue.

    When reconnecting all cables, don't forget the one for the power supply, disconnect it for at least 30 seconds.

    Disconnecting the console from power like that, sometimes fixes controller synching issues

    Yeah same for me, my controller was fine all day until my wifi disconnected, then when i got it up and running, my controller started doing this, this is second time this has happened to me, and i still don't know how to fix it. Hopefully there is a way
    Xbox can fix this.

    Had the same problem last night after I turned my controller off it disconnected abount 30 mins in, then with the controller in it seemed like every 15 mins so throughout the last hour every five mins I would move the joystick on the controller and it didnt
    disconnect once, im wondering if its an issue when the cintroller sshuts off or then console goes into standby mode after awhile either way this needs to b fixed
