Please follow my recommendations:

1. Delete the Minecraft launcher that exists on your computer.

2. Restart your computer.

3. Install legacy Minecraft launcher for Windows.

Once reinstalled, continue with these instructions.

1. Open Minecraft launcher.

2. If you are already logged in, click on your image and Gamer tag in the upper left corner of the screen and then on "Logout".

3. After logging out, delete all accounts registered in the launcher by clicking on the "X" next to each account.

4. In the Minecraft launcher, enter the Microsoft email and password.

i cannot launch the game, after i click play, Minecraft launcher closes and the game does not open and if i try to re open minecraft launcher i get an error code 0x800705b4, i have tried everything, i downloaded java 17, i reinstalled the game, i updated windows 10 and i updated my graphics card, still nothing, this is frustrating. Also on log folder i get an error Detected unexpected shutdown during last game startup: resetting fullscreen mode

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you're having issues with Minecraft. If it says that the game is already running even if it's not, this means that the game is no longer responding on the background.

What you can do is to go to task manager, look for Java.exe, right click on it then press "End Task". Once done, try launching Minecraft again.

If it's still not working, you will have to restart your PC.

Click the Start button, then click the Power button, and finally select "Restart

By doing this, the Java processes will be restarted.

One possible solution to this issue is to try resetting the Minecraft game files. To do this, follow these steps:
