How do I fix error code 0x80a4001a without access to the email or Microsoft account

Hello Elijah! I'm Annanda and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

This issue can be solved by following these steps:

Remove Profile, power cycle console, re-download profile.

Saved games and progress acquired online are backed up in the cloud. Gamerscores, achievements, purchased games/DLCs, etc are tied up to the account. Just make sure you know the email and password of the account you have issues with.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts.
3. Select the account that needs to be removed, and then select Remove to confirm.
4. When you're finished, select Close.

After that, do a power cycle on the console. Don't add the profile yet.

1. Turn off the Xbox One console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.
2. Wait 2 minutes before powering it back on.

Please re-download your profile by selecting the icon at the upper-left corner of the dashboard. Select ADD NEW, input your email and password.

I still have error code

I cant log into my account and it gives me the error code of 0x80a4001a

As written in the last update on the status page you may use this temporary fix to access now:

"If you are prompted for your Microsoft Account password and then receive error 0x80a4001a, do the following: Remove your Xbox account from the console and recover your account to the console. When
recovering, select either 'No Barriers' or 'Use a Passkey'."

This has been confirmed by several users. Meanwhile the tech guys are working for a solution to the problem.
