How do I find unsaved captures?

I clipped some gameplay and it said that the capture was saved and uploaded to the xbox live network. When I go to check my captures its not there. I've searched everywhere and no post has been able to help me. Normally I wouldnt care but these were really cool captures and I need to know if theres anyway for me to get thme.

Please try the following steps one at a time to resolve the issue:

Solution 1: Do a power cycle to clear the cache of the console

1. Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

Important Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Plug the console power cable back in.

4, Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox console.

Solution 2: Kindly check if there is a pending system update for the console.

Make sure your console is connected to the internet, and then press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select System > Settings.

Select System > Updates & downloads.

Under "Updates", you'll see: Console update available. Select this button to begin your update,

Solution 3: Do a factory reset

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select System > Settings > System > Console info.

3. Select Reset console.

4. Reset and keep my games & apps.

If the same issue persists, other players are experiencing the same issue right now. Although there is no official announcement yet about the issue. Let's wait until it gets fixed, you can also provide feedback about it using the Report a problem app which you can download by doing the steps below.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide, and then select Store.

Select Search, and then enter Xbox Report a Problem in the search box.

Choose the app from the search results, and then select Download.

Follow the instructions in the section “Report a new problem” to submit your problem report.

Similar problem: I had 210 captures. Selected all and saved. Only 155 saved. I used xboxdvr.com to pull my saved captures to my PC and deleted the "saved" captures from Upload. The remaining 55 "unsaved" captures fail to save and give the aforementioned
error at the beginning of this thread. All of my captures are recorded by me and this also includes screenshots.

Any updates from a Moderater would be extremely helpful

I've tried looking to see if that's an issue but I can't find my capture storage anywhere. I've checked the regular settings, upload capture, and under all my clips and I can't find it. How do I check?

M3tal Daz3, Yeah, like I said it will make clips and take screenshots, I just can't SAVE any of them. Going into Game DVR I can either select one and get this message:

"Capture not saved

Sorry, the capture you selected was not saved. Please try again."

Or all of them and get this slightly different one:

"No captures saved

Sorry, none of your selected captures were saved. Please try again."

And no other info is provided as to why. No error code. And after awhile, unsaved screens/clips get deleted automatically.

As i can understand so far......there is NO solution to the problem which i also have. So, what do we do ? Is there something easy we can do to overcome the barrier of unsaved captures? The Upload studio is not very helpful 'cause it's only adds clips and
no screenshots. Basically i want to post/share to Facebook. I understand that there is no direct action for this, right? Any suggestion is a good suggestion!
