How do I find out which Xbox (not account ) purchased a game

I have two children who play on an Xbox which has two different accounts on it.

My older son had the Xbox first so it is set up intially for him, but now his brother has an account to on the same Xbox.

When the Xbox turns on it signs straight into the older sons account and then it is changed to the younger child's account via an adult normally.

My older son no longer plays on that Xbox at that house any more but the younger one does .

I received a email stating there was a purchase to my older sons account which he said he didn't make.

I'm thinking my younger son may have accidentally do this as accounts may not if been changed .

So I'm wondering how I can find out which Xbox machine it was purchased on as the one that the younger one plays on is and Xbox one and the one that the older son plays on which is at a different house is an Xbox S .

is there anyway possible to find out which Xbox it was purchased off .

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I apologize but there is no option to check which Xbox it was purchased, only which Xbox account.

What I can do to help is prevent this from happening again. I would recommend setting up a passkey for every purchases.

Settings > Account > Sign-in, security & passkey > Change my sign-in & security preferences > Customize > Ask for my passkey to make purchases > Passkey required.

then you need to find out which profile purchased it

you need to do a license transfer from the account that purchased it

Unfortunately, there are no ways to check it on Xbox's end as they don't have any tools to check any 3rd party accounts linked to a Microsoft account.

It would be best to reach out to Ubisoft Support as they have the necessary tools to check it on their end and possibly determine which Ubisoft account is linked to your Microsoft account:
