    How do I escalate a concern with hardware and customer service?


    I’ve had issues with all series x controllers with drift, spoke to one person initially who said I’d receive an email with options at no cost, 3 follow up calls have been met with no updates or help and no information received via email as the first rep stated. The last people I’ve spoken with have refused to escalate the matter and not provided any information.

    Yes they’re registered, it’s a total of 4 controllers all drift after 6 months. I’m aware all are out of warranty, but I’ve contacted the customer support, I’ve gotten 4 different answers on processes and all reps have stated I’d be receiving an email in 72 hours with information and options. This is the reason for my question on how to escalate, I’m simply seeking to have a follow up on the initial inquiry and response. The follow up on this from those I’ve spoken with has been non existent.

    Controllers have a 90 day warranty

    I'm sorry, but all analog controllers from the three majors eventually develop drift. They all use the same mechanisms from the same suppliers.

    Make sure your controller is registered under devices at https://account.microsoft.com

    If the warranty is still valid you can start a replacement there

    If it's not under warranty, replacing it with a new one is basically the same price
