    How do I erase parental control passcode in xbox360 if the previous owner did not erase...


    How can I erase the family settings on an Xbox 360 such as parental guidance if the previous owner did not erase everything before selling it, I use the console to stream, I tried opening internet explorer but it was locked and I don’t know the code nor the answers to the security questions. How do I reset it?

    We understand that you recently purchased Xbox 360 and there is a prompt about passcode from the previous owner. For this passcode feature is available when a device was added to an account. You may need to contact the previous owner to have it remove. For alternative, if you are not the owner nor family organizer of the Xbox 360 console, resetting the pass code may not be possible as you will need the permission of the previous owner to do so.



    We hope you'll be able to reach out to the previous owner. Please show to them this support article so they can reset the pass code of the device: How to reset the pass code for parental controls on Xbox 360 | Xbox Support.

    Otherwise, upgrading to new console could be the better option.

    Forgot Pass Code

    ummm when you recover the gamertag it erases the passcode

    you can set a new passcode by going back to edit profile and set passcode
