How do I enaple UPnP on a WAVLINK router?

Unfortunately I don’t know how to enable UPnP on this particular router. Although I’m unfamiliar with the name, I’ll do my best to help!

The manufacturer manuals that came with the router should have instrutions on how to do this.

There should be an option to enable/disable UPnP in advanced network settings on your router. Although, all router settings and ISPs are different, so this may not be supported or an option for your router. I can’t seem to find any tutorials or guides on
enabling UPnP for the router in question. I also can’t seem to find any assistance with this on their website.

To change your router settings, you’ll need to type in the router IP address into your browser and login with the usename and password. This will take you to the admin network settings page, from here you can adjust all the network settings for the router.

On their website it says you can email them and they usually respond within 48 hours so this should be sorted soon for you, hopefully

You’ll need to download the manual for your specific router model, which should have some answers to your questions.

I suggest emailing support, who will be able to let you know the exact settings you need to enable, guide you through the steps and troubleshoot any problems if necessary.

on most Routers you can only choose 1 option.

UPNP OR Port Forward. The cheap Home Routers can´t do both.

If you have UPNP enapled - then disable Port Forward.

Restart your Router and the your XBOX. You should now get open NAT.

I tried one of the Wavlink solution, and it has finally worked. If you’re having this problem, investing about $8-$16 into a Wavlink SATA isn’t a bad idea. Mine has finally worked but a heads up, try formatting your HDD/SSD for Xbox first after acquiring
the before mentioned Wavlink SATA.
