how do i enable voice chat for a child Xbox One - Halo MCC

I am planning to get a headset to plug into an xbox one controller so that my son can chat with a friend of his while playing the master chief collection.

I'd like to know how i could set up voice chat on the console, so that he can only interact with friends that we (parents) approve of ?

thanks, was able to sort everything out.

just concerned a bit. can i mute individual players or allow only friends to be heard on the headset when he is in multiplayer ? would be nice if there was a global setting on the xbox (apply to all games).

... To answer you question though, It depends on your child settings. If you have voice chat enabled on Xbox Live for everyone then they can hear everyone. See these two links
