How Do I Enable Cloud Saves On My XBox One

Hi,

I am having some issues and am getting ready to reset my entire Xbox and external storage device.

I am concerned that I will lose all the game saves I have. I have read that they auto back up to the cloud yet when I use the feature in BD2 to view/download saved games, there are no games listed yet I have been playing for some time and there should be
one character in the cloud, right? This happens in other titles that are supposed to be using the Xbox One Cloud to back up saved games yet they dont show in those games either.

I have tried following the tutorial to insure cloud saves are turned on but the option to enable cloud saves is not even available (see pic):

From the Xbox Dashboard, go to settings, and then select System.

Select Storage, and then select Cloud Saved Games.

Select Enable Cloud Saved Games.

Is this normal? Is there a new, different way that Xbox hasn't updated on the support website? How can I force it to sync?

skate 3 does have cloud save enabled. its been on xbox one for years now. when it first came to xbox one i uploaded my save to the cloud storage. i just cant seem to do it again. also to my knowledge cloud saving has been on 360 before the xbox one even came out. i cant even move cloud enabled saves to my cloud storage, thats my problem. i can only take saves out of my cloud storage on my 360. there's even youtube vidoes of people uploading skaters in 2022 and beyond.

Thank you for helping me clarify what I was asking and then addressing it.

The Xbox One just saves automatically to the cloud and it wasn't listing any saved games as that does deal with XBox 360 saves.

I was able to reset my console and format my HDD. Once it was all done, I logged in and was able to DL my games and it was like it was before the reset and format.

As posted at the first; this is not what my Xbox menu has. These instructions are either out of date or somehow I have a different menu on my Xbox One than I should; which is a bigger concern than the cloud saves if that is the case as that would indicate
someone has modified my OS remotely.

***This portion of the question can be closed as the tutorials are for the Xbox 360 and not the Xbox One. I am using the Xbox One.***

The games I am using are NOT the B/C Xbox 360 games. They are Xbox One versions only.

I stated that I know that is supposed to happen yet why are they not listed in the game menu.

Also, why is the option to 'Enable Cloud Saves' not where the tutorial/KB says it should be?

I dont want to lose everything just because someone 'thinks' its happening and everything will be alright.

You have not addressed either of my original questions.
