how do i edit messge settings for xbox chat on pc

does not let me click on gamer tag

You can manage your chat or messaging settings through the Xbox privacy settings, however, since your birthdate on your Xbox account is a child account, you will need to have an adult account to help you manage your Xbox privacy settings.

NOTE: A child account can't manage its own privacy settings.

A child account is registered on the birthdate 21 years old and below upon the account's first creation while an adult account is registered on the birthdate 22 years old and older.

In order to fix this, you need to create a new adult Microsoft account on account.microsoft.com

Then have your adult account sign in to account.microsoft.com > Go to Family > from there, add your child account as "Family Member"

NOTE: Make sure that your child account is added as a "Family Member" and your adult account is the "Organizer" to make this work.

An organizer in an Xbox family group can manage settings for members who are in the family group. Kids can only see (and not manage) their own settings.

Once it's done, here's how to manage your child's account's privacy settings:

Sign in to your adult Microsoft account at Xbox.com.

Select your Gamertag, and then select the More actions button (…).

Select Xbox settings, and then select Privacy & online safety.

NOTE: Because you’re accessing sensitive info, you may have to enter your password or PIN.

Select the gamertag for the child account that you want to manage.

Select either the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety tab or the Privacy tab.

Review the current settings and update any that you want to change, and then select Submit to save the changes.

NOTE: You must select Submit at the bottom of the page before leaving or switching to another tab. If you don't submit the changes before you move to the other tab, your changes won't be saved.

Have the member sign in and then sign out of their account on the console to make sure the changes take effect.

You can try to chat up xbox team enforcement or Microsoft xbox company show them my messge what i wrote here than see what they say my gamertag is dmc777#7733

i tried both paypal and mastercard,dosent work.(wrote it in another messge cause i didnt found anyway to edit)

oh and i tried buying gold on my brothers account,same error.

I dont miss the guide only when i get messges do i miss it ,
