How do I download film hire after purchase.

I have an Xbox360. I hired a film but halfway through it downloading it canceled because of internet issues. How do I re-download the film? I have tried clicking on to the film but now there is only the option of purchasing it?

Can't download films (no rights)

I'm trying to download films onto my Microsoft Surface and am getting an error message that I can't download because I have no rights. I've downloaded films before without a problem. I've paid for the films. Any ideas? And how do I get money back?

 

Error 'Unable to play content Licence Missing'

I have recently renewed my xbox live subscription and also as I had credit left on my account, I decided to rent and download a film recently my via xbox live account

When I logged onto UK xbox live, I then went to Microsoft TV & Movies section.

After browsing films I tried to purchase Mechanic Resurection.

My account was debited and recieved confirmation emails from Microsoft to confirm purchase.

However after I purchased the film I could not get options to download film in HD or SD and the following error message appears

'Unable To Play Content Licence Missing'

I contacted microsoft via xbox chat and spent over 2hours following options from CS to no avail.

They said that this is an emerging problem with Microsoft servers and will notify superiors to make them aware of this serious problem.

I was asked to try and download another film which I tried and after numerous problems I did eventually, but the same problem and message persists.

Currently tried to rent and download Star trek film but am unsure if this has worked.

Has anybody else had this problem and did you manage to fix it??

Can you redownload it by going to your download history in "Settings > Account > Download History" and looking for it in that list?

It does not show on my xbox download history. I am unable to access purchase history "error in "/" server application. But I can see my purchase history on other devices and the film has been purchased.

If you confirmed the film was purchased from your Order History on another device,then your Xbox 360 may be experiencing some technical difficulties.

Let's start with
clearing the system cache on the 360. Follow the steps listed on the guide and clear the cache about 3 times.

Once you do that, turn off the Xbox and unplug the power unit from the Xbox and from the wall outlet for 1-2 minutes and the try to download it again from your Download History.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this sort of problem, but I believe we should be able to get to the bottom of this.

If I were you, and those previously posted troubleshooting steps didn't affect your issue, then I would go ahead and try to rollback your console updates and see if that helps.
