    How do i disable restrictions on my xbox account ?


    i went to download middle earth shadow of war onto my pc because ive been playing it on xcloud and decided i wanted to play it properly and it says that its rated above the restrictions of my account and that i need to ask an adult to sign in and download
    it

    You cannot unlink an account once linked, You'd have to talk to epic about disabling their accounts

    Yes, I figured it out. For whatever reason, there was an age restriction on my Xbox account, probably for my little brother. Anyway, removing the age restriction and trying again worked for me. Try checking if you have any restrictions at all on
    your account (Xbox or Microsoft) and remove them. This should work for you too.
    How exactly did you remove the age restriction? I don´t know how to do that. My brother actually plays on the xbox and I would like to play some destiny 2 there. I play on PS4 and i am getting the same error. Do I change it on the xbox itself?

    Thank you so much for the response. If that is the case then why was I able to download DESTROY ALL HUMANS, with it also having an age restriction of +16? Also how do I check my age restrictions? My Microsoft account also shows that my age is well over 16 years, unless my Microsoft account is separate from my Xbox account
