How do I disable Kinect voice commands, without disabling the Kinect Mic?

I use the Kinect camera for streaming [with a headset for the mic,] and it keeps on picking up commands that I haven't said and I want to disable this.

However, I do not want to turn off the Kinect mic, as I use that [without a headset] when in parties.

All I want to do, is disable ALL voice commands, and nothing else.

This isn't true, they removed Cortana, they didn't remove Kinect voice commands.

It responds to "xbox" plus commands, and can often interpret other words to be xbox and a command, or just get triggered by the use of the word xbox within a sentence.

There isnt anymore voice commands as they were mostly removed

Plus you had to say kinect plus command

Now its only supports alexa or google home as cortana has been removed from consoles

sorry to bump but thought it would be easier than starting a new thread. If you Enable Kinect but disable mic, does this just disable the kinect mic and will your headset still record your voice?

Haven't had chat issues if they use their mics. You are running into goofballs using the kinect for voice or not disabling voice chat for kinect in settings.

Of course you can, to disable the Kinect microphone go to:

# Settings

# Select Kinect

# Uncheck 'Use Kinect microphone for chat.'

Voice commands will also work with the "Kinect microphone being off".
