    How do I detach the headset from elite 2 controller?


    I have an Elite 2 controller that shows attached headset. This I can see in accessories app additional options. How do I detach the headset? Every time I turn the controller on xbox thinks there is a headset attached. It then changes sound to head set.

    Kindly check if there is an update for your controller.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, select Profile & system > Settings > Devices & streaming > Accessories, and then select the controller you want to update.
    2. On the Xbox Wireless Controller screen, select “…” to check the firmware version for your controller.
    3. If it says “Update,” select Firmware version, and then follow the steps provided.
