    How Do I delete my Xbox data without having it saved?


    I cannot delete any of my xbox game data, since reserved data saves once you come back on.. I Have tried everything online (YouTube, Reddit, Google, Microsoft too) and I cannot find the solution. The game in question that I am trying to delete data from is black ops 2, since i cannot level up and my data is corrupted. The delete data section, for some reason, doesn't have my profile and only the game, which doesn't allow me to delete my data. If ANYONE could help me with this then I'd be a billion thanks from me. I really hope I could delete my black ops 2 data.

    Hi! I'm Luis, a fellow Xbox Gamer . Thanks for reaching us out here.

    Can you try this workaround?

    Play the game for a few hours with preferences set to offline. Then quit the game, log out of your account, and then unplugged the Xbox for a few minutes.

    Plugged it into the socket, fired it up, set settings to online, and launch the game. When the synchronization is in progresscancel it. Then a two-choice dialog shpud appear on screen which will alert you that the game you are currently playing does not match the game stored on the cloud. Chose to stick with the game currently underway. Check if it overwrites the cloud save.

    Hi Darkman5150,

    I understand you are having issues with game data saves, this code is an indicator that you may not have the space, you may want to check and see if you have enough space for more data to be saved and if your space is low I would suggest deleting any old
    saved data, if you have not done so already.

    If that does not help try doing a soft reset, which deletes all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

    Follow the steps here on How to reset your console to factory defaults on Xbox One and let us know how that helps with
    the issue.

    I have attempted to do a full power recycle of the console, and delete my locally saved data, neither of these have allowed me to start my game without being sent to the home screen.

    I had the same issue. What I did is went to manage game and saved data deleted CODS saved data (DO NOT delete your data) and hard reset my Xbox cleared cache and it works now.
