how do I delete games that already have been deleted on xbox game app?

I have deleted code vein,scarlet nexus,project wingman long ago and tried to download them now since I got new gamepass when I opened the app I saw them on the bar of my games which is weird when I clicked it says "play" instead of "install" clicking play does nothing tried to uninstall them thru xbox app and there is no option to do so any ideas what to do with this?

so it didnt help there is still no button to uninstall game that isnt on my pc any other ideas? I can only buy it wishlist and share

You will no longer be able to install these games since they’re no longer in game pass so let’s try to find ways to uninstall them. Kindly press the Win + R key to open the Run dialog.

Type cmd and click OK to open Command Prompt.

In the Command Prompt window, type the following command and hit Enter to execute:

WSReset.exe

Try to see if you can uninstall it from MS store app. If not, check if you have any pending updates using this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo... or select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update , and then select Check for updates.

If there's nothing pending, kindly right-click the Start button on your taskbar, and then select Windows Terminal (Admin). In the Administrator: Windows PowerShell screen, type the following command and press Enter:

Get-AppxPackage *gamingservices* -allusers | remove-appxpackage

This did not fix the issue any other idea? I could wipe my drive but I'd rather leave that option for last

Hello, Krystian! I appreciate you trying the steps. These games ( code vein, scarlet nexus, project wingman) already left game pass so let's see if repair/resetting the Xbox app will fix the issue. Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features. Find the App named "Gaming Services" then select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Reset.

After that press WIN+R (Windows logo key + R) , Enter "services.msc", find "Game Services", stop the service and then start it back again. Try uninstalling the games again.

Kindly delete all files in C:\Users\User_name\AppData\Local\Packages \Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache, and then reboot your pc.

This will only rescan all your downloaded files in just a few minutes then check if you can reinstall your game through MS store app.
