    How do I connect my Xbox one to my PC to use as a monitor? The console companion app which is mentioned in most tutorials isn't on the Microsoft store. I have HDMI.

    Xbox Companion App Party Invitations

    This would be the 3rd time I have said I have checked my PC notification settings. Hell I built my own i9 PC and tournie website and am pretty sure I checked the settings today.

    Let me re-iterate that on Xbox you see party invites and the Xbox companion app should do the same.

    Not via game bar, not via PC but by the app I'm using which is the main app anyway. Why would I want a mini game bar version I may have to refer to, if talking in companion? Who decides these things? Do they ever stream on PC using an Xbox console and Companion?
    Theres enough to monitor already.

    The best way to be to use your Xbox Companion app on your PC to stream your screen so you can see what you're doing. Using the stream option it'll act as your monitor/TV and you can factory reset your Xbox. just plug both PC and Xbox into a wired connection
    on your network. and connect Via the Xbox Companion App on PC.
