    How do I connect EA Play from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscription to another account...


    Sorry I know this is kind of confusing but bear with me.

    So, I just recently spoke with a friend and I am now currently sharing their Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription and I am having some trouble getting things to run smoothly. The way I managed to share the subscription was making my friend's Microsoft Account my current store account, which is working properly as of now. I have been capable of downloading a few games to my PC from the game pass.

    However, when I seem to attempt to download an EA Play game from the Game Pass roster, such as Peggle or Spore, It redirects me to the EA App currently downloaded on my PC and urges me to either purchase the game or subscribe to EA Play, despite the shared Game Pass.

    I have an EA account that is signed into the app and linked to my personal Xbox account. From appearance, it seems that it recognizes the connected accounts but, as stated before, I am always redirected to the EA app's store.

    Please do consider letting me know if I can fix this. Thank you!!

    What will happen to my subscriptions if I already have both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate & EA Play on Xbox?

    When the EA Play member benefit unlocks for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, users who have both Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play purchased through the Microsoft Store will have their EA Play membership canceled and any remaining time over 50 days will
    be rounded up and converted to the nearest month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a ratio of 3:1.

    For example, if you have between 50 days and 3 months of EA Play already on your account when EA Play comes to Ultimate, you will have 1 month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added to your account. If you have between 4 months and 6 months of EA Play already on
    your account when EA Play comes to Ultimate, you will have 2 months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate added to your account.

    Hello Tadis, you don't need to cancel your EA PLay, the Game Pass Ultimate subscription already has EA play, if you already have EA in your Microsoft account, you can purchase the Game Pass Ultimate subscription from the same account, which will keep your progress and data you already have from EA.

    Game Pass Ultimate includes 5 subscriptions plus cloud gaming. These subscriptions are:

    Game Pass for Xbox

    Game Pass for PC

    EA Play for Xbox

    EA Play for PC

    Xbox Live Gold

    If your son only wants EA Play for Xbox & Game Pass for Xbox, then yeah it might be cheaper, but if he wants Gold as well, then you might be better off getting Ultimate.

    Look at your local or online game store for the subscriptions, you might get a cheaper deal instead of directly purchasing from Microsoft.

    Downgrading Xbox Ultimate Game Pass back to Xbox Gold?

    Ultimate includes Gold, as well as Game pass for PC, Game Pass for Xbox & EA Play, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Once the subscription has expired in one year, you can start another Gold Subscription if you wish.
