How do I connect a usb mic to xbox series x?

Both the Series X and Xbox One have never supported "just any USB mic". They do not work.

The keyboard itself plugs into my controller and the usb, I have plugged into the usb port on the front of my xbox series x. When using the keyboard, the keyboard works but the mic stops working.

I personally do not have a usb Mic but a friend does and he is super disappointed if series x isn't compatible with it. I hope they decide to add that option or at least some kind of converter so they still can be used. Like a way to turn it into a Bluetooth
connection. So good!!

Thx for ur response, but standard USB mics for Xbox one, PS4 or nintendo switch dont work on Xbox series x. I tested them...

The only thing works fine is headphones + mic. But si not a good solution for me and karaoke games.

It would be nice that Microsoft sold official microphones that work with Xbox series x.

Unfortunately, there is no built-in mic on the Xbox Series X and no bluetooth support if you're thinking to go that route.



You will need to attach a headset with a mic to the Xbox Series X controller. The Xbox Series X controller uses a standard 2.5mm audio connection for Xbox Live, you can use any standard headset. (It does not have to be something fancy or expensive.)
