How do I configure a generic Pro controller to Xbox Game Cloud?

Hi,

When you say generic 'Pro Controller' are you referring to a Nintendo Switch controller? If you are, be aware, the Switch controllers, like PlayStation controllers, are DirectInput controllers. This means they are not directly supported by Xbox Cloud as this requires a controller with Xinput support.

You should be able to get such a controller to work via an Xinput wrapper.

N30 Pro 2 (Bluetooth or USB connection)

These are the two models supported for Xbox Cloud gaming.

Try to connect it via Bluetooth or USB cable whichever works. I also suggest to try a different controller to isolate the issue.

If you want to know if the controller is compatible with your Chromebook for use with Xbox Cloud Gaming, then according to the following website where a list of controllers compatible with Xbox Cloud Gaming is shown, it seems that the wired 8BitDo Ultimate controller is not compatible:

For now, the only 8BitDo controllers compatible with the Xbox Cloud Gaming are:

- SN30 Pro Controller for Xbox Cloud Gaming on Android.
- N30 Pro 2.

Unfortunately, the access to connect a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to Xbox is currently unavailable. Xbox Cloud can only operate with the same controllers which you use on your Xbox Console.
