    How do I completely turn of my XBox?


    I used to go to Settings -> General -> Power Mode & Startup and then "Full Shutdown", but the new update removed this option. Now the shutdown is just energy saving.

    I usually plug all my electronic devices off after I properly shut them down. Now I fear that I will bring harm to the, now still active XBox, when I plug it off.

    Has "Full Shutdown" allways been just energy saving mode, or did that change now? I'm kinda confused about that. Also: does it harm my console (first model XBox One), if I cut the power, while it might still be running in the background?

    It worked.

    Since the xbox wasn't shut down 100% it was causing issues with grand theft online, wasnt allowing me to go online for some reason.
