    How do I completely reset a game's save data/ progress?


    I want to know how to reset game progress for a game I bought but didn't have the chance to play. My child played on my system and played the whole story through and now that I want to go through and do it I can't because I can't get the progress to completely reset. Please help.

    Nice to meet you and I hope you are having a great day!

    I understand you need help in deleting a saved data on a game.

    Please do this on your Xbox console to delete the saved data:

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide, and then select My games & apps.

    Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game & add-ons.

    In the menu on the left side of the screen, scroll down to Saved Data, then highlight the saved data for your gamertag on the right and press the A button on your controller.

    You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:

    Delete from console removes the local copy of this save. You can get it from the cloud the next time you play.

    Delete everywhere removes your saved data from this console, the cloud, and all other consoles you play on.

    Hi.

    I got the same problem with my MXGP 2021 motorcross game.

    I want to start all over, and I did all that in your text deleting both console and cloud data, but when I start the game, create a new player, all my data is back again.

    If I do that it is not going to reset my online games data right ? i mean that as in ill Still have all my progression in online games saved?
    Your progress is saved doing this and it's also on the xbox servers to sync with. You don't lose progress.
