How do I clear the grey suggestion boxes that pop up as I type in a website on Microsoft Edge?

I would try clearing the cache in your edge browser. Do this by going into edge settings, click on "Choose what to Clear" and then select the field you wish and clear them. A message will pop up saying "All Clear!" when it is finished. This is the simplest
troubleshoot when a website will not allow you to sign in. Please let us know if this doesn't work and if you need more help!

This is the Edge app on Xbox One? The content found on websites is up to the websites that you're visiting and not controlled by Microsoft or a result of the Edge App. There aren't any extensions with the Xbox One version of Edge, so that would also unlikely
be the culprit. I would really think it's the visited sites that would be causing the redirection, I'm not sure how it would be done otherwise.
I would recommend reviewing this page to see if it helps in clearing up what you have in Edge to prevent this.

and irritating - I can't even add a new profile - all we get is a grey box popping up and then back to the screen

Thanks SunkNath, I tried with both Edge and Firefox browsers after having cleared all browser data. I can't attach a screenshot but basically the problem lies at Step 1.

I get:

'Invalid data. Please check your information'.

Greyed out box

Greyed out box

Please enter a valid first name

email address

greyed out box with correct details.

The green box under Step 2 never goes dark green.

All my Microsoft account information is displaying as normal.

Yes I can log in online and on my computer just not my console
