How do I claim my season pass?

I pre ordered watch dogs legion and got a message from xbox saying " Thanks got purchasing Watch Dogs: Legion. Your order comes with a season pass that includes content to be delivered at a future date. To see it, select [Launch App]." And upon selecting launch app it brings me to the store page for the season pass and says it costs 40 dollars. This problem has been going on since I pre ordered it

Web App and Ea Season Pass

    1) You do not need the EA season pass to access the web app.

    .

    2) From my understanding, if you get the EA season pass you are able to download the game & play it on the Friday before it drops. (I've never gotten the Season Pass, but from my understand that is how it works)

I love how people always say you BUY the Season Pass and then you get the DLC for FREE. What do people think the the Season Pass is?
