How do I change xbox privacy settings (windows 10)

I can't change my privacy settings for my xbox account. I want to change it because I can't join my friend's custom game in halo infinite.

I went to try and change it, and was brought to this:

Each one of the dropdowns start off by telling me to go to My account > Family > More options.

When I go to Family, there is no "more options":

I'm not in a family account (to the best of my knowledge), my age on my Microsoft account is over 18, and I just want to play halo infinite with my friend but I can't find any answers wherever I look.

What should I do?

You have to setup correctly your privacy settings on Xbox AND/OR windows 10.

I made the fake account the organizer already

I'm just gonna give up at this point, microsoft really needs to make this process better.

I understand normally this works, I suggest you try the alternative below, please.

You need an alternate Microsoft account and download the Xbox Family App on your phone. Add the main account as a family member and make the alternate account the organizer. Sign in as the organizer on the Xbox Family App and change the settings there. You should be able to see the settings to let your account play multiplayer.

OK when I went to post a question, it showed me a link that said to click there to edit my profile. I went there and now i can edit my profile
