    how do I change the parental controls restriction?


    When I was younger I would play minecraft with some friends but I stopped playing for a while. I recently gained an interest to play with my boyfriend and friends but I cant because my multiplayer is disabled due to parental control restriction

    You would have to get your parent to do it

    People often did not put their birthdays in correctly when they registered and then they're surprised when the system thinks they're still minors

    It sounds like you need to change the restrictions on your console/profile.

    Also make sure there aren't any age restrictions on your account/Xbox, because this will stop un-rated content being downloadable.

    And in the part of "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 devices Online Safety" set all features related to multiplayer, communication and friendship to "Allow".

    If it won't let you log in to set up your account, there may be two reasons.

    1. The date of birth of your account is underage, check it in this link:

    2. You are a member of a family group, check it in this link

    https://account.microsoft.com/family/home

    If you are a minor, you must enter a family group and the family group administrator must configure your account in the same way that I indicated initially.
