These options are available on Xbox, so I know my controller is capable of changing the brightness of its Xbox button.

What I need is to have this option on PC. I have downloaded the Xbox Accessories App, but it only allows me to remap other buttons. This is what I get:

    No brightness options.

But on the Microsoft Store they show this:

It seems the option is only available for Elite controllers. But why? I know the regular Series X controller is capable of dimming the brightness of its button.

Is there any other app, even third party, that can help me with this?

BTW, my question is not about changing the brightness of my computer's screen. My computer's screen has nothing to do with this.

And I am aware I can put tape on top of the Xbox button. That is not a real solution. Not with hardware as modern and configurable as this.

    :)

I wish the problem would get solved, is all.

You can already change the brightness of the controller on Xbox, so it's not like the controller shouldn't be able to do it on PC.

What's really irritating is that this feature has already been implemented to PC, but exclusively for Elite controllers, which makes no sense since regular controllers are capable too of having this feature. It looks like you are locking the feature away from us to give the illusion the Elite controllers are the only ones that can do it.

I'm sorry but this option is not available on the computer. It is only for consoles.
Lucas Lauer please don't lie. This option is also available on the computer. Could you edit your message?

The thing is, why the **** is only available with Elite controllers and not with the standard Xbox Series controller. But you don't know that either.
