How do i change privacy settings so that i may play multiplayer?

how the heck do i change my privacy settings so i can play minecraft on my ps4. I tried every thing and I spent the last 2 hours trying to fix it.

Like another individual mentioned what was your age status when you set up everything. Is this your xbox or your guardians? Please provide that information so we can assist you if in fact that is not the issue.

This usually means your account is underage and doesn't meet the requirements to play certain games. Unfortunately you're not able to change these settings yourself. You will need a parent or guardian to add you into a family account and make the changes
for you. The instructions for that are here

Keep in mind that the system uses the age you entered when you created the account. While you can change your age anytime after the fact. It won't be recognized as your new "official" age. This is to prevent kids from just changing their ages to bypass things.

The article linked below explains the process very well. As my colleagues said, you will need to have your guardians make the necessary changes to your Xbox Live (Microsoft Family) account.
