How do I change one letter from uncapitalized to capitalized in my gamertag?

If the system is not letting this be done, it is because to the system, just capitalizing the letter is no different from what it already is. There is no way to bypass this, okay? You either add anything to make it slightly different while making the B capital or leave it as it is, okay? It would not be a good idea to change to something else just to make this Gamertag " free " so you can change it to the capitalized version again ( it is not guaranteed that you will be able to choose the same Gamertag).

I've been stuck with a completely uncapitalized gamertag for almost 10 years now, I think, and I want to capitalize it. I don't see why you wouldn't allow people to just change capitalization in their gamertags.

But you cam it just cost you twice or once now with the new system but you will have to take a suffix

But before rhe new system you had to change your name to free it snd then change it back not really worth changing caps

The only way to keep your original name.and caps it is to change it completely then back agsin to avoid the suffix

To be honest I find your concern strange, as I have been able to successfully change my gamertag from capitalize with uncapitalize with spaces to shrink version and then going back to capitalize with uncapitalize with spaces. I did not encounter any issues. So, in this case, we would recommend you to contact the Xbox support for this. Just making sure you had no issues with the specific gamertag you wanted back. they have been always case sensitive

capitals nor spaces make a name different from any other version

you need a COMPLETE letter or character difference

meaning you need to type 1 or any other character letter

to change your name

you may not change your gamertag by changing capitals

In order to change it, you will have to change the tag to something else and then change it back with a capital letter. So you will have to pay for 2 gamertag changes. The system doesn't see things like capital letters as making a gamertag unique. So you
can't just change it because the system already sees you as having the gamertag.
