How do I change A/V Receiver model

Hello,

When I initially set up my Scorpio I entered the model number of Denon A/V receiver so that the Xbox and Kinect could turn the Denon on and off when the Xbox was powered on and off. My Denon failed due to a lightning strike and I replaced it with a different
model which must use different IR codes for its remote controller. When I go to my Xbox's "Settings, then "Power Mode and Start up", then "TV & A/V Power Options", which brings up "Device Power Options", then move the curser over "Audio Receiver" it won't
let me click through to change the model of Audio Receiver. Am I doing something wrong?

How to remove devices from Xbox One?

I originally connected my devices (A/V receiver, ATT Uverse Cable Box, Pioneer TV) to my Xbox One. After giving it a try with everything connected that way, I decided to not use my A/V receiver.

Since I had input the AV receiver as a device, I can't remove it but I can add another one. The reason is I want to use the Kinect to change the volume of the TV since its not connected to a AV receiver any longer.

How do I remove the AV receiver from the "Devices" panel in the "TV & OneGuide settings?"

 

HDMI splitter on XB1

do what I did

I put the HDMI switch after my A/V receiver

so HDMI from XB1 to input of A/V receiver. Output of A/V receiver to input of HDMI switch. 1st output of HDMI switch to TV, 2nd output of HDMI switch to projector. gives full audio and now you have options for either TV or projector for everything that is connected to your A/V receiver
