    What is a "booster"?

    The only reason you would need to change the MAC address is to circumvent a MAC filter of some kind, in whatever way the network establishes a connection.

    As taidara mentioned, we need to know what your network setup looks like (modem, routers, gateways, Wifi repeaters, etc).

    if somebody else set up your modem/router then be sure to contact them if that is the case.

    If it's standard from your ISP, try contacting them too to see if they can assist
