  1. How do I back up Xbox captures to a different OneDrive account?

I want to back up my Xbox captures to OneDrive, but my Xbox account is tied to a Microsoft account that I no longer have access to. I want to back up the captures to a different Microsoft account, but I can't find anything in the Xbox settings that would allow me to change the backup location. Is this even possible to change, and if so, where/how do I change that?

    :)

How do I back up Xbox captures to a different OneDrive account?

Hi. My name is Brilliant, an independent advisor. I am happy to assist you today.

To back up your Xbox captures to a different OneDrive account, you can use the “Upload to OneDrive” function. Here are the steps to follow:
    1. Launch the “Captures” app on your Xbox console.
    2. Select the captures that you want to back up to OneDrive.
    3. Choose the “Upload to OneDrive” option from the available actions.
    4. Sign in to the OneDrive account where you want to store your captures.
    5. Wait for the upload process to complete.

Please note that you can’t upload captures that are recorded to an external drive directly to OneDrive from your console. However, you can copy them to your desired external drive and then upload them to OneDrive from your PC.

    I hope this helps.

How do i access my xbox captures on my pc

Set yourself up with a Microsoft OneDrive account (free) here: https://onedrive.live.com/

Then on the XBOX console either manually choose to "share" each clip or capture to OneDrive when you capture them, or in the XBOX settings menus set clips and captures to always automatically share to OneDrive.

Then you can simply go to your OneDrive storage on PC (through your browser, not through the XBOX app) where all your captures will be safe, and save each capture to you want to your hard drive. You can also transfer items from OneDrive to the XBOX using the OneDrive app or file explorer app on the XBOX, which is how you can import images to use as your gamerpics.

Can you change where Game DVR saves the clips?

The only way I know of actually moving a capture is to send it to your OneDrive. Press the menu button with the capture highlighted and select "share" then select "OneDrive". And then delete the capture if you don't want it to take up space in your Game
    DVR.

I don't believe there is any other way to store your captures on your Xbox One without them taking up space on the cloud, as that is how they are uploaded. I hope I'm wrong though!

Uploading to OneDrive, but on the mobile app I can’t play the videos...

When I go to Upload Studio, and manage my clips, it pulls up a page that has my captures listed in rows, and on each row as I traverse down has the option "Upload to OneDrive" on the console, even when I'm not selecting multiple; so it should be there.
Where is it on the console that you're looking at and managing your captures? Can you try going to Upload Studio > Manage my Captures and see if the option is available there?

As for what you see on OneDrive, I just want to verify that you have enough cloud storage on OneDrive? At
the OneDrive site you should see how much free space total you have, and how much of that is available.

Lastly, one thing I would do, is go back through old captures you no longer want or need on your console and delete them. Clear them out of your console and Xbox Live storage. It is possible to fill up your Xbox Live cloud storage, which I've seen cause
some issues similar to this, I believe. I might be wrong, but I think total Xbox Live cloud storage (separate from OneDrive storage) is based on the number of titles you have on your account that you have launched. But please note that last part is conjecture
and was officially stated in documentation on Xbox.com that has been superseded by more recent information, but not detailing Xbox Live cloud storage space.
