    How do I back up my game saves?


    Hi guys, I will be upgrading from a 1st Gen X-box one to an X-box One X Monday. I just got an 8 TB external hard drive to use with my new X-box one X but would like to back up all my saves before upgrading. How do I back up just my game saves so I can
    still use them after the upgrade?

    I just upgraded from one console to another and when I logged on with the new console EVERYTHING was there. I had no issues at all.

    Thanks, that's good to know. Is there anyway to check and see what is on the cload just to make sure before I switch over? I am not worries bout most of my saves...but I have a couple of 100% that I want to make sure I keep.

    Hi, The article you linked states that I must have an X-box Gold membership in order to have the cloud storage for saved games...I do not mainly because I don't online game. I went to my settings, System, Storage and I see noting about the cloud. In the
    storage tab, I have three options, Clear local saved games, Clear locl Xbox 360 games, Make more space...that is it. It shows my Internal hard drive and also my external drive.

    On the bright side I may have figured out how to transfer all the items to my external drive but there is nothing I can find on my system about the cloud storage at all.

    Yeah, my console is always online. Always has been since I purchased it. I will not be keeping my old system, and trading it in for credit toward the Xbox one X, so if there is any problems...it will be too late...I suppose it wouldn't be the end of
    the world...but a shame.
