How do I allow a Child Xbox Account to Upload Custom Gamerpics?

Hello,

Recently I’ve connected with Xbox help for a different issue and because of how our family works, we don’t have our Microsoft accounts connected via family. I was told to make another account with an older age to be able to control my main account’s permissions. I’d like to now upload a custom profile picture for my Xbox profile and cannot for the life of me figure out how to allow it via my “parent” account I have. Where do I go to allow my main account to do this?

It's not possible to allow a child account to use custom gamerpics. Only adult accounts can use them.

your Xbox One gamerpic

There is a video showing you how to do it there. Please keep in mind that child accounts are not able to upload custom gamer pics. There is no way around this.

Does that mean there is also no way for a parent to upload a custom pic to be used for the child account?
