How do i access my xbox captures on my pc

im well aware on how to make a capture on my PC and access it from my PC, im also well aware on how to take a capture on my Xbox and access it on my Xbox

but my problem lies in the fact that i cannot access my Xbox Captures from my Windows 11 PC in basically anyway that doesn't already defeat the purpose of having a Capture system in the first place

i need a way to transfer between the two devices since the Console Companion App doesn't exist anymore

Set yourself up with a Microsoft OneDrive account (free) here: https://onedrive.live.com/

Then on the XBOX console either manually choose to "share" each clip or capture to OneDrive when you capture them, or in the XBOX settings menus set clips and captures to always automatically share to OneDrive.

Then you can simply go to your OneDrive storage on PC (through your browser, not through the XBOX app) where all your captures will be safe, and save each capture to you want to your hard drive. You can also transfer items from OneDrive to the XBOX using the OneDrive app or file explorer app on the XBOX, which is how you can import images to use as your gamerpics.

The OneDrive app is no more on Xbox consoles.

Instead, it's seamlessly integrated into your personal console's OneDrive for easy uploading.

Please, make your Microsoft e-mail account (the one from the XBOX profile) the primary alias of your Xbox Account.

Log in to your account with your current primary alias.

Select it as your primary by clicking on Make primary.

Then log into the https://onedrive.live.com/ website.

Also, on your computer, you can access the folder at C:\Users\your-user-name\OneDrive\Pictures\Xbox Screenshots

First you need to upload your captures to Onedrive using your console.

Then, log into the Onedrive website:

What I do is capture my game with Xbox capture . Then Go to my captures on xbox app or xbox.com. Download them to my pc and edit them then put them on youtube . Easy way to by pass everything complicated.
