How do get owned games to unlock after cancelling game pass (over 50 games)

Sometimes there are issues as the system does checks and stops the checks at the Game Pass check.

First thing to try is a hard reset of the console (I am quoting this from another thread):

"Try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console."

Hopefully that will resolve the issue

You already get reward points for unlocking achievements, You get 50 reward points a day for unlocking an achievement. You also unlock reward points for unlocking achievements in game pass games if you have game pass, as well as playing game pass games, and PC games from the Microsoft Store too. You can also unlock points by doing certain activities in games as well.

If you were to get the game pass and then purchase the game if you ever cancelled game pass you will still own the game due to you purchased it. Only time you would lose them for example if you download Forza Horizon 4 then you cancel game pass you will
get error do you own or want to buy the game due to didn't purchase.

So yes you will still be able to play the game without the subscription.

How long do I have access to games within the Game Pass catalog?

Xbox Game Pass members enjoy unlimited access to over 100 great games within Xbox Game Pass catalog, until either the subscription is canceled/expires, or a game leaves the Game Pass catalog.

It's another reason why games in Game Pass are offered at a discount if you want to purchase them in order to own them if/when they leave the catalog.
